I had a dream...
I bought a blank 8" square canvas from a charity shop ages ago and didn't know what to do with it for months, then Louise (Pinkpuppy) posted a cupcake themed challenge on the Crafts Beautiful Forum. I fiddled about trying to make a pair of beaded cupcake earrings but they kept going wrong and I got fed up with them, then one night I dreamed up this project - literally! I got up early and had it finished before I had to leave for work!
The background is one of the free papers from Crafts Beautiful magazine, I loved the fabric effect, and I used a strip of another paper from the same book put through a ribbler for the cupcake case. The icing is funky foam cut using scalloped oval Nestabilities dies in various sizes, with a button cherry and seed bead and bugle bead sprinkles. The doiley was a RAK from Maritrez.
Thank you for looking!
